DESCRIPTION:2022 Milton Holiday House Tour\nDecember 10\, 2022–tix on sale from Nov.1\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Club of Milton is hosting their annual Holiday House Tour on Saturday\, December 10\, 2022 at 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm (rain\, snow or shine).  The popular event\, presents a festive\, holiday house tour of 9 of Milton’s most charming homes\, both historic and new\, as well as three historic public buildings (the Milton Historical Society and Museum\, Milton Town Hall\, and the Milton Arts Guild)\, all beautifully decorated for the holidays.  Tickets: $25 in advance; $30 Day of Tour.  Advance tickets will be available at:  The Mercantile of Milton\, 109 Union Street;  Salon Milton\, 517 Chestnut Street; and The Lewes Gourmet\, 110 Front Street in Lewes\, DE.  Tickets go sale November 1. \nTickets may be purchased on the day of the tour at The Mercantile\, the WCOM bake sale table at the Holly Festival\, and The Milton Historical Society. SUMMARY:GARDEN CLASS: One Container-Two Holidays
DESCRIPTION:Alison will show you how to create a planted container using native plants like ferns\, grasses\, woody shrubs\, and edibles that will take you from Thanksgiving to Christmas with added décor\, greenery\, and lights. Gardening with perennials and shrubs is environmentally friendly and a great way to add year-round interest to your front or back porch. \nThe workshop fee covers the lecture and demonstration. Adult class. \nParticipants receive a 10% discount on pot and plant purchases for the class. \nAlison Webb AIFD was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in 1985 while working and living in Baltimore\, Maryland. Her last position was as an event designer\, planning the florals for weddings and many other events. Upon retirement from the floral industry\, she moved to the Maryland/Delaware coast and has transitioned her floral love into plants\, particularly natives. She has worked with Inland Bays Garden Center for 5 years.
