DESCRIPTION:“Join a guided birding tour with a veteran birder at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. The tours are usually led by either Harry Armistead or Terry Allen. The tours meet at 9am at the Blackwater Visitor Center\, 2145 Key Wallace Drive\, Cambridge\, MD\, 21613. Tours may last 3-4 hours. Bring your binoculars and field guides\, and dress appropriately for the weather. The birding party will caravan via car to birding hotspots around the Wildlife Drive. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Blackwater Visitor Center is open Tuesday-Sunday\, 10am-4pm; closed Mondays and federal holidays. DESCRIPTION:  Every Sunday from 12-3 Nassau Valley Vineyards hosts one of the area’s best Farmers Markets around! With live music every week\, featuring artists such as Jr. Wilson and Chatty\, Matt Lafferty\, Hot Sauce\, Keith Mack\, Ed Shockley and many more! We have a full sangria bar made with Nassau’s very own wines\, and some of the locals’ best vendors on site! It’s a fun time for all! Shop for local produce\, honey\, jams\, arts and crafts\, and more! Bring a chair\, or grab one of ours and just kick back to relax while listening to some solid tunes\, enjoying great food from one of our on-premise vendors\, and sipping on a nice glass of locally made wine or sangria.  Children and families welcome! Dogs are not permitted within the Market areas or the Winery buildings\, but you are free to walk with them outside of those premises or sit at the picnic tables with them\, on-leash.  We look forward to seeing you there! \nPlease note the following for wine tasting at Nassau Valley. Delaware law now requires that tasting service must be done fifteen minutes before closing time. If you plan to come for tasting you must be here by 4:30pm. We are also in peak wedding season from April thru November. Sometimes we have to close early for a wedding.
