SUMMARY:First Friday\, "Blarney Pilgrims" at Sussex Tavern
DESCRIPTION:“Every month The Lewes Historical Society welcomes locals and visitors alike to join us for our Historic First Friday Event. The Sussex Tavern at the Rabbit’s Ferry House comes alive as LHS history interpreters share fascinating tales and ales from the past. The tavern hosts also serve up a selection of period drinks such as Milk Punch\, Grog\, and Sangaree\, to name a few. Guest musicians add ambiance to the intimate setting\, where everyone feels welcome. Tavern goers are invited to enjoy the Historic Campus and if there is a nip in the air\, the fire pit is beckoning!” \nSussex Tavern was recently featured in the Cape Gazette’s Cape Flavors column.  Click to read more!
