SUMMARY:Polar Express Pajama Party!
DESCRIPTION:On the night of Christmas Eve\, a boy (Voiced by Daryl Sabara) is growing bitterly skeptical of the existence of Santa Claus. As he struggles to sleep\, he is roused by a steam locomotive\, Polar Express\, bound for the North Pole. He boards the train and embarks on the journey of a lifetime as he rediscovers his belief in Santa Claus and the Christmas Spirit. \nThe Polar Express is a 2004 American 3D computer-animated film based on the 1985 children’s book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg\, who also served as one of the executive producers on the film. The film was written\, produced\, and directed by Robert Zemeckis. \nThe film stars Daryl Sabara\, Nona Gaye\, Jimmy Bennett\, and Eddie Deezen\, with Tom Hanks in six distinct roles. The film also included a performance by Tinashe at age 9\, who later gained exposure as a pop singer in the 2010s\, as the CGI-model for the female protagonist.

SUMMARY:Spring Awakening\, MUSICAL Live at Milton Theatre
DESCRIPTION:In-House Milton Theatre Mainstage Production of the full-length musical drama SPRING AWAKENING! \n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\n\n\n\nHERE WE GO!\nThe Milton Theatre makes a grand return of its in-house productions this 2022 with the iconic stage musical SPRING AWAKENING!\nAn angsty rock musical adaptation of the seminal play about the trials and tribulations of growing up.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Spring Awakening\nWebsite \nThe winner of eight Tony Awards\, including Best Musical\, told by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater through what Entertainment Weekly called\, “the most gorgeous Broadway score this decade\,” Spring Awakening explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with a poignancy and passion that is illuminating and unforgettable. The landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality\, sexuality and rock and roll that is exhilarating audiences across the nation like no other musical in years. \nIt is Germany\, 1891\, a world where the grown-ups hold all the cards. The beautiful young Wendla explores the mysteries of her body and wonders aloud where babies come from… until Mama tells her to shut it and put on a proper dress. Elsewhere\, the brilliant and fearless young Melchior interrupts a mind-numbing Latin drill to defend his buddy\, Moritz – a boy so traumatized by puberty that he can’t concentrate on anything… not that the Headmaster cares. He strikes them both and tells them to turn in their lesson. One afternoon\, in a private place in the woods\, Melchior and Wendla meet by accident and soon find within themselves a desire unlike anything they’ve ever felt. As they fumble their way into one another’s arms\, Moritz flounders and soon fails out of school. When even his one adult friend\, Melchior’s mother\, ignores his plea for help\, he is left so distraught that he can’t hear the promise of life offered by his outcast friend\, Ilse. Naturally\, the Headmasters waste no time in pinning the “crime” of Moritz’s suicide on Melchior to expel him. And soon\, Mama learns that her little Wendla is pregnant. Now the young lovers must struggle against all odds to build a world together for their child. \nJoin this group of late nineteenth century German students on their passage as the navigate teenage self-discovery and coming of age anxiety in a powerful celebration of youth and rebellion in the daring\, remarkable Spring Awakening. \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Milton Theatre\nOfficial Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram \nThe historic Milton Theatre is a uniquely diverse venue where you will find the best local\, regional\, national\, and international talent. SUMMARY:Miss DE Pageant at Milton Theatre
DESCRIPTION:About Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization\nWebsite | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram \n“The focus of the Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization is to make scholarships available to the State’s most promising young women\, providing them with educational choices and opportunities for personal and professional growth.” \nDelaware joined the Miss America family in 1933 with its first representative\, Victoria George. Through the early years the competition was not an annual event due to the world wars and other economic conflicts which suffered throughout the nation. In 1966\, the Miss Delaware Competition moved to Convention Hall in Rehoboth Beach\, a resort oriented community similar to Atlantic City. In 2006\, the Miss Delaware Competition moved to Dover Downs Hotel and Casino in Dover\, the Capital of the First State. \nOn June 7\, 1977\, with the help of Senator Richard Cordrey\, Miss Delaware became the Official Hostess to the state. The original Rehoboth Beach franchise was held by the Chamber of Commerce and the pageant directors were chosen from its membership. In 1973\, a board of directors was chosen and the Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization was born. \nIn 1972\, Catherine Lawton was the first Miss Delaware to be named as a Preliminary Talent Winner and selected for the top ten in the Miss America Competition. She traveled with the U.S.O. Troupe overseas to entertain U.S. Servicemen. In 1976\, Debora (Day) Lipford and 2010\, Kayla Martell were also named to the top ten. Galen Giaccone was also named as a top fifteen finalist in 2009. Other state title holders have gone on to win swimsuit\, talent\, congeniality and non-finalist talent awards. \nThe Miss Delaware Scholarship Organization is a not-for-profit organization that is the official state preliminary for the Miss America Competition. The Miss America Organization is a scholarship-based program. \nAll info and pics from the website: https://www.miltontheatre.com/ \n \nAbout the Milton Theatre\nOfficial Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram \nThe historic Milton Theatre is a uniquely diverse venue where you will find the best local\, regional\, national\, and international talent. SUMMARY:Cabaret at Milton Theater
DESCRIPTION:The Milton Theatre makes a grand return of its in-house productions this 2022 with the iconic stage musical CABARET!\nDaring\, provocative and exuberantly entertaining! Cabaret explores the dark and heady life of Bohemian Berlin as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich.\n“A stunning musical… this marionette’s-eye view of a time and place in our lives that was brassy\, wanton\, carefree and doomed to crumble is brilliantly conceived.”– Walter Kerr\, The New York Times\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Cabaret (1998)\nWebsite \nBook by Joe Masteroff \nBased on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood \nMusic by John Kander \nLyrics by Fred Ebb \nIn a Berlin nightclub\, as the 1920’s draw to a close\, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary\, Cabaret explores the dark\, heady\, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff\, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin\, is immediately taken with English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile\, Fräulein Schneider\, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boarding house\, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz\, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include “Willkommen\,” “Cabaret\,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.” \nCabaret opened on Broadway on November 20\, 1966\, and played for 1\,165 performances at the Broadhurst\, Imperial\, and Broadway Theatres. The London production ran for 336 performances at the Palace Theatre. The show was revised for Broadway\, first in 1987\, when it played for 261 performances at the Imperial and Minskoff Theatres\, and again in 1998 at Studio 54\, where it played for 2\,377 performances. In 2014\, Cabaret returned to Broadway at Studio 54\, playing an additional 388 performances. \n\nAbout the Milton Theatre\nOfficial Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram \nThe historic Milton Theatre is a uniquely diverse venue where you will find the best local\, regional\, national\, and international talent.
