Love your nonfiction (biographies, memoirs, etc.)—if so the Rehoboth Public Lbrary has the perfect group for you. “Come join our nonfiction book club at the Rehoboth Beach Public Library!  Meetings are currently being held virtually over Zoom.

For November’s meeting, we will be reading and discussing The Lady From the Black Lagoon, by Mallory O’Meara.  The book tells the story of Milicent Patrick, the only woman to design of one of Universal Studio’s classic horror monsters.  The author also reflects on her own experiences in Hollywood and how they relate to the rise and fall of Milicent’s career.

Copies will be available at the library and the eBook is available on Hoopla. If you would like to pick up the book in person, our library is currently open from 10-3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  We are also continuing to offer curbside pickup services on Mondays through Fridays.  Please call the library to schedule an appointment if you would like to use that option.
