“Oil Still Bleeds: Forgotten African American Heroes of Pearl Harbor and Beyond”

We are pleased to announce a series of lectures related to our new exhibition “Oil Still Bleeds: A Relic and Remembrances of the Battleship USS Arizona – Delaware’s Forgotten Heroes of Pearl Harbor.”
To add depth and breadth to our subject, we are hosting a series of talks in the North Gun Room exhibition space, where the USS Arizona relic will serve as a touchstone to the events and people described by our speakers.
We will only be able to seat 100 people in the Oil Still Bleeds exhibition area on a first-come basis. Please RSVP for each lecture by emailing Terri Colegrove or calling 302-644-0107.
Location: The talks in the series will be held in the Oil Still Bleeds exhibition space with the USS Arizona relic acting as a touchstone to & reminder of the reality of the events and people described in the talks.
Dates and time: February 19, 2022; March 26, 2022; April 23, 2022; May 21, 2022; June 18, 2022 | Followed by a 2 pm museum tour for those who are interested
