“All month long, in the spirit of working to keep the vision and dedication of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of equality, freedom and service to neighbors alive, the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs is providing collection spaces for donations- and the Zwaanendael is one of them!

We are accepting of food, toiletries and gently used, clean clothes for the Delaware Food Bank and Friendship House with Code Purple shelters. We are also collecting much-needed items such as pet food, towels, blankets and cleaning supplies for the First State Animal Center and SPCA.

Donations may be dropped off at the Zwaanendael Museum Monday- Saturday, from 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m. “
