Knitting Groups (and Crochet)

Hooks and Needles: a time of knitting and crocheting! All levels are welcome to attend.

No Registration is required.

  • Cape Henlopen Senior Center, The Sewing Group, Tuesday 8:30 am – 2 pm (FREE) Enjoy sewing?  Build comradery with fellow sewers while creating your projects. If you use fabric, thread and needles to make it, you’re doing some sort of sewing. Bring your own supplies and sewing machine, if needed, and lunch.
  • Cape Henlopen Senior Center, The “Yarners” Group, Wednesday, 9 am – 11 am, (FREE) They knit, they crochet, they do all kinds of needlecraft. They would love to have you join them!
  • Cape Henlopen Senior Center, Quilting, Tuesday 9 am – 11 am, (FREE) These ladies provide services for those who have finished tops that need quilting. The proceeds from their work goes to CHSC. Come join them in a great fundraiser for CHSC
  • Georgetown Public Library, First Wednesdays of each Monthy, 10am: Sea Purl’s Knitting Guild
  • South Coastal Public Library: First Mondays of each month at 10am: Chix with Stix: all level knitting group.

    Join Julia for our next meeting about crocheting, knitting and needleworking. All skill levels welcome. See what others are making and get inspiration in this fun group meeting. Check out some of our knitting books for inspiration as well! Registration is appreciated but not required. The group will meet regularly on the 1st Monday of the month @ 10 am for most meetings.

    “In the Loop: Knitting and Crocheting Group”

    Calling all knitting and crochet fans! Looking to sit and knit or crochet with others? Join a weekly casual gathering of enthusiasts to work on our favorite projects and occasionally help each other. We’ll sit by the fireplace, stimulate our creative juices, and get to know fellow yarn lovers.

    No registration is required and walk-ins are welcome.

Spinning Yarns: Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, or similar crafts?

Bring your project to the library on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and enjoy the company of likeminded crafters. No formal instruction involved. Please bring your own hooks and/or needles, as well as any specialized yarn that you need. The library will have some yarn and round looms in different sizes available to use.
