The Coastal Delaware Running Festival takes place in mid-April at Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. It includes 5k, 9k, half marathon (13.1 mi/ 21km), and a full marathon (26.2 mi/ 42km). The full marathon is certified as Boston Marathon Qualifier. Delaware offers four fast and flat courses that feature beautiful local landmarks such as Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, historic Lewes, the Cape Henlopen State Park, and a few more state parks. The Coastal Delaware Running Festival features about 3000 runners.

Upon finish at Rehoboth Beach Broadwalk runners can take part in​ the celebration with complimentary food, music and beer. The proceeds from the festival contribute to the Delaware Seashore Preservation Foundation and Delaware State Parks. Local businesses and more than 200 volunteers support the runners for two days.
