2022 marks the 13th year of this fun and festive event! Dozens of extraordinary sea glass and coastal artists skilled in various mediums including sea glass, driftwood, jewelry, photography, painting, metal and woodwork, ceramics, and sculpture will be offering their works for sale. The festival highlights the historic origins of sea glass, and experts will be available to talk with you and help to identify the origins of your pieces.
Plan to spend the day, and enjoy the atmosphere of our main campus whose historic buildings will be open to the public. The complex is surrounded by shade trees and gardens, providing a beautiful backdrop for your visit. Enjoy festive live music and delicious food throughout the day.
Your admission to the festival provides access to all LHS properties and museums so while you’re here plan to visit the Historical Society’s other locations including the Ryves Holt House gift shop & information center, the Maritime Museum at the Cannonball House, The Lewes U.S. Lifesaving Station, the Lewes History Museum, and the LHS Antique Shop in the historic “Z Club” building. Ask for a location map!
Proceeds from this event will benefit educational and preservation programs of The Lewes Historical Society
