First Time Ever – CREATIVE MARKET / ART EVENT at the new Cambria Hotel

Hand-Painted wine glasses, an assortment of hand-crafted greeting cards and a holiday vase created by Diva Clendenin (Liquid Abstracts), the artist orchestrating the event.

On Sunday, November 17th from 11 am to 3 pm, 20 talented local artists and makers of fine crafts will be set up in the beautiful ballroom of the new Cambria Hotel in Rehoboth Beach. These creatives will be showcasing their uniquely designed, hand-crafted items which will all be available for purchase. This is the first event of its’ kind to be held at this stylish new venue!

Artistically designed and hand-crafted items available will include original paintings, glassware, jewelry, home décor, wearables, photographs, artisanal soaps, and much more. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of unique artwork while listening to relaxing music and purchasing special one-of-a-kind items! This is an excellent way to purchase some distinctive, handmade gifts for friends and family for an upcoming special occasion while supporting local artists, and a magnificent way to get Christmas shopping done early!

Spearheaded by Diva Clendenin, of Liquid Abstracts in Lewes, this event, featuring beautiful and diverse artwork, will be offered at the new Cambria Hotel at 17222 Hood Road in Rehoboth Beach, which had its’ grand opening in late June of this year. Located off Route 24 close to Coastal Highway, this upscale new hotel features a Mediterranean style restaurant called the Veranda Restaurant & Bar, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as cocktails and wine. Attendees at the Creative Market can purchase an enjoyable meal and/or beverage at the hotel’s restaurant or snack bar before or after attending the event. 

Admission to the event is FREE, and there will also be a drawing for a free hand-crafted item, created by one of the artisans participating in the event. There will be at least one winner, and the drawing will be held after the event. The winner does not need to be present to win. Winner(s) will be notified via email after the event.  

A watercolor painting which won a top award in the Delaware State Fair, created by Pam McMillan, one of the artists that will participate in the event. Pam is an art instructor at OLLI (the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at the University of Delaware.
