When my 11-year-old daughter Saniyah passed on July 31st 2020 I was devastated. Even with her special needs in addition to being non-verbal, she was vibrant, inspiring, and funny. Saniyah took control of her life as best as she could, determined to feed herself, and she would always try to run. Since she passed away, I’ve committed my life to supporting other parents of special needs children in Delaware.
She did not achieve her goal to run. And that is why I founded my 501(c)3 called “Run Saniyah Run.” Founded a year ago to assist parents of special needs children, we serve most cities in the state of Delaware.
“It is my pleasure to serve on the Board of Directors of Run Saniyah Run. As Sales Manager of Sussex County Women’s Journal Magazine, my personal mission is to help Gia assist the parents of special need children in our communities.”
