Sea Tales & Superstitions Fireside Chat with Lewes Historical Society

Have you ever wondered why Friday the 13th is historically bad luck? Do you know what cenosillicaphobia is? Join storyteller, and Director of Education of the Lewes Historical Society, Marcos Salaverria, at the Dogfish Inn, at 105 Savannah Road. Be regaled with a mix of stories from across the centuries on Friday, October 13 from 4 – 7 p.m. around the fire. History & legend, alongside good company and good drink will be shared make for a hauntingly good time! We’ll have Dogfish Head goodness available for sale.

Parking is limited at the Dogfish Inn and is reserved for Inn guests only. Please park at a public lot / spot if you plan to attend and are not staying at the Inn.

Stick around for the weekend to check out our Punkin Ale Fest, happening on Saturday, October 14 at the Milton brewery! It’ll be all things Punkin, from live music, incredible vendors, doggy goodness, and (of course) come off-centered libations releasing just for the event. This free event is open to all ages.
