COMPUTER HELP at Sussex Co. Libraries

November 21

From registering online for programs to figuring out our own PC, our local libraries can help with SO many of the problems we face.
  • Georgetown Public Library: Thursdays, 10:30am – 11:30am, and 5pm-6pm, COMPUTER BASICS: Come learn the basics of how to use a computer, or come prepared with advance questions of your own. This will be a mixture of prepared training as well as a chance to ask questions and get drop in computer help from a certified Computer Instructor. This project was funded by a grant from AARP. Registration is required. Register by calling 302-856-7958 OR register online (click this link to go to the library calendar, click on the class on Thursdays, 5pm to see the page where you register)
  • Laurel Public Library, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7pm, Jack’s Tech Talk: Technology assistance for patrons. Appointments are required.  Call 302-875-3184 or stop by the library to sign up.
  • Lewes Public Library, free technology assistance the first and third Friday of each month from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on a drop-in basis. A staff member is available to assist with a variety of common technology questions. Topics include (but are not limited to): digital books, email, internet, Microsoft Word and Excel, texting, and digital photos. Guests may bring their own devices such as e-readers, tablets, phones and computers—or utilize the library’s PC computers. No appointment is necessary, and assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to bring relevant usernames, passwords, and login information. All ages are welcome. For more information, call the library at 302-645-2733 or visit lewes.lib.de.us.
