On the Edge, Possum Point Players invites YOU
January 4, 2022 @ 6:00 pm
In 1999, Possum Point Players created the “ON THE EDGE” experience for the purpose of providing “risk-taking” theatre to our public and volunteers. Possum Point Players ON THE EDGE creates, produces and/or performs theatrical works that allow those involved to take risks in their desired art form. Those risks are taken to teach, to stretch and to enlighten and/or entertain the actors, audience and other participants.
The first show of Possum Point Players ON THE EDGE was a performance of Jean Paul Sartre’s No Exit. The sold out house raved about the performances, choice of play and the overall evening’s activities. The group then produced An Evening With Joyce Carol Oates the next year. This proved to us that there is an audience for “non-traditional” theatrical experiences.
Possum Point Players ON THE EDGE stage remains a strong component of PPP’s mission to bring the live theater experience in all its forms to residents and visitors alike. If you enjoy character exploration and development, Possum Point Players ON THE EDGE is for you!
ON THE EDGE meets at Possum Hall each THURSDAY at 6:00p except for the week of the first Thursday of the month when we meet on TUESDAY of that week at 6:00p.
