Several times weekly RBWG members facilitate a FreeWrite open to all. Take a look at the options that suit you.

Per the RBWG website, here are some details to explain more and give dates/times.
“FreeWrite is the name given to an informal gathering of writers of ALL skill levels who meet to practice their writing in a friendly and nurturing atmosphere. The goal of the FreeWrites is to provide a place and an opportunity for people to have fun with their writing, to explore different genres, and to do this in the company of other writing enthusiasts. Each FreeWrite is facilitated by a Rehoboth Beach Writers Guild member who has experience in teaching, writing and/or leading such groups. Participants write prose, songs, poetry and fiction, work on novels during free writes, and start short stories. Writing prompts are often (but not always) designed to focus on a particular aspect of writing: the use of sensory details, the necessity of strong verbs, the craft of writing dialogue.”

I take myself by surprise. Writing at a FreeWrite! is like throwing a surprise party for yourself.  You never know what is going to spill out on your computer screen.  Is an evil twin lurking in the machinery? Or is it my fingers that somehow acquire access to long forgotten memories, buried dreams and nightmares? No matter how many times I ask myself, Where did that come from,  No matter how many times I think I should have run out of surprises by now–something unexpected jumps out from where it’s been lurking behind a load of unpacked boxes in the basement of my mind.  I didn’t know I knew that, I think.”
