Grab your beach chairs, pack some popcorn, and get ready for another summer of family fun as Monday Movies on the Beach returns to Dewey Beach for the 2026 season.
Held every Monday evening throughout the summer, this popular community tradition invites families, friends, and visitors to enjoy free outdoor movies right on the sand at Dagsworthy Avenue. Movies begin at 8:30 p.m., offering the perfect way to end a summer day at the beach.
To add a little extra glow to the evening, glow necklaces will be available for a $1 donation while supplies last. Restrooms will also be available at the Dewey Beach Lifesaving Station for guests’ convenience.
The free event is sponsored by the Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce, and donations help keep this beloved summer tradition going year after year.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early, settle into the sand, and enjoy a memorable night under the stars with family and friends. In the event of inclement weather, movie cancellations will be announced on the Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
Bring a blanket, bring your favorite movie snacks, and enjoy a magical summer night at the beach!
